Another Kind of Success
I was reading Genesis 39 yesterday and had another success story come to mind. Joseph sold into slavery and bought by Potiphar was a success. His success came from his relationship with God. “The Lord was with him” is what it says. When Potiphar realized this, he eventually put him in charge of everything.
This is a great lesson to me about success and where it comes from. Not necessarily from my hard work, but from God being with me. It says that God’s blessing was on everything that Joseph did.
That’s the best definiteion of success I think we have.
God’s blessing = success
So then the question I think becomes, “how do we receive God’s blessing?”
