Rooted Conference
I have been involved with a great group of people working on this conference. Now I am getting really excited about how it is shaping up. We started with the idea that there are many youth leaders out there who are tired of the entertainment model of youth ministry and who want to get back to the reason we all started youth ministry. That being the idea that the gospel is central to life and that Jesus is the best model for any ministry.
What has come out of this is so much more than a conference. We have seen people coming out of the interest in the conference that are shaping up a movement. It is a group of people who are committed to living the gospel an letting that inform how they do ministry. It isn’t focused on the methodology of ministry, but rather, the ideology or theology that informs our methods.
This isn’t a conference for those needing a pep rally experience or the latest methods for attracting teens and getting them to join the church. If you are in need of fellowship with other people who want the gospel to me the focus of ministry or just need a good dose of affirmation in your calling, check out this conference.
